    Congratulations!
I especially love this – “If feminism is to remain relevant, feminists need to stop telling women what to think.” Yes yes yes! Brilliant article.

    Hi Kate,
Congratulations on a great article and on being published!
I didn’t recognise the name but recognised you from the accompanying photo!

Brian! What a treat to hear from you! I heard about the work you were doing a few years ago from one of the Amberley brothers. I couldn’t help feeling rather proud of you, if that’s the right word! At any rate, I was glad your many talents were being put to good use.
At the moment, writing is what I like to do with my pockets of ‘me time’. This article was my first attempt at something serious and controversial. My usual style is lighthearted pieces about parenting etc. It was a good challenge, but nerve-wracking at the same time. You might remember how I like for everybody to agree and be happy!
Thanks for writing to me! It’s funny that you can read what I wrote and we can communicate even though you’re on the other side of the world.

I read your Eureka Street piece and thought good for you – both for the content, but especially for getting published. There’s no buzz quite like it. I look forward to reading your blog. We Australian catholic women bloggers need all the support we deserve! Congratulations. Judith Lynch

Thanks so much, Judith! It was exciting for me to discover your blog as well. I’ve had a little read, but I look forward to going over it in more detail. I don’t think I will ever get over that buzz of getting published!
